If your bargaining unit has not entered into negotiations with your school jurisdiction, employers cannot change arbitrary pay or working conditions. The expired collective agreements will continue to be in place until a new agreement is ratified. Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools and the CUPE Executive recently met to sign the collective agreement, which will be in effect from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022.
